And My AXE!

My first blog for ages - but I’m delighted to report in on our 8th Anniversary (we opened on Hobbit Day, 22 September 2017).

So cool to have some new items from the movies this year - kindly donated by Wellington locals.

In February we were gifted a Black Rider cape that was used in filming the Nazgul-on-fire scene - so it has actual burn holes. Fun to wear with the Nazgul gloves and replica sword and imagine yourself ablaze!!!

And then we were gifted a Dwarf AXE used in Hobbit filming in the Battle of the 5 Armies. It’s a delight - and surprisingly heavy.
